Steps to Correct Page Size
Step 1: Viewing website in the format for which it was designed. : )
- If you are already "logged on" to AOL or another internet browser, click the "Internet Explorer Browser" icon (a blue letter "e") located on your desktop or near the toolbar "Start" button)
- In the address line, type "http://www.judyepstein.com/" or even just "www.judyepstein.com"
- Navigate back to the page you were on and hopefully my images will all fit on the page now! : )
- If not, proceed onto the 2nd step.
Step 2: Improving the clarity of the images and reducing imagery size on the page
- Click on the "Start" tab on the toolbar at the bottom left of your Windows program toolbar
- Click on "Control Panel"
- Double Click on "Display"
- Click on the furthest tab on top where it says "Settings"
- Move the Pointer in "Screen resolution" to the right
- This controls the sharpness of images and the ratio (like high definition TV ratio)
- Some ratios don't work so well. The BEST are "1152 by 864" or "1280 by 1024"
- These numbers will appear as you move the pointer toward "More"
- PLEASE NOTE: When you click "Okay" the Monitor Screen will go completely BLACK and then it will show you a preview of the change for just a few seconds before it goes BLACK again and returns to the way it was.
- If you liked the preview, then click "Okay" and as soon as the screen returns after being BLACK, click "Yes" before the timer of a few seconds runs out. You are complete! : )
(Note: If you don't like this setting, you can return to where you were by following Step 2 and returning the pointer to the ratio and resolution you were before.)
As an artist and healer, I am no computer techie and everything I know is self-taught. Should you have helpful information for me, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Especially what would need to be done for a "MAC", if anything. I can be reached at JudyEpsteinAZ@aol.com.
Thanks!
